...there is this island where a pig is living on his own. On his own, but not alone. As pigs are social herd animals, they need at least one companion. For piggy it doesn't matter if this companion has only two legs and no snout like a pig has.

PetpigPiggy came to the island when he was 5 days old.
He came together with a spotted female piglet from another litter.
The future was wide open..
But unfortunately his friend died after a few weeks.
It was caribbean winter and one coldfront after the other blew over the island
and she was too small and was missing the warmth of her mother and her siblings.

Sometimes it can be quite rough and harsh out here.
Mother nature is extremely present then.
PetpigPiggy had to survive alone.
First in the wooden house of his human nurse and
when he grew older and began to be a real pig
and not a piglet any more, he moved into his own hut and began to feed himself.

The locals are suspicious of him, but they don't dare to barbecue him
like they always announce that they will.
He grew strong and survived Hurricane Earl all alone out here on his island.
Since then, he has been the boss of the island.
